A homeowner in Vaughan reached out to us via email for a quote on a rear-house project: “Since we really like the door we ordered from you, we’d like you to quote our windows.”

We were happy to hear from him again and help with another job. His windows were not old, but he wanted to change the style of the door and windows to create a more open and unobstructed view of his green backyard.

After getting on the phone to discuss the options, we went with his first choice of cutting the wall to expand the patio door, converting it into a sliding door, and pushing the casement windows to the sides so there would be no divisions in the direct eyesight. He also wanted slim profile frames, so the picture windows were a good match here.

Once all final details were clarified and a few small changes made, we came back with custom-made products to do the cuts and installation. The replacement went well, and the new windows design changed them drastically. It seemed like we did not just expand the door but also the windows!
