Here we would like to highlight not one, but two similar window replacement projects in the Leaside neighbourhood of Toronto. Both homeowners wanted to replace their original wooden windows with a more modern, open look ones, especially the bay windows, which originally had thick posts and busy grilles that limited the view and natural light.

To achieve a cleaner, more open design, we removed the unnecessary center posts while keeping the structural supports at the corners. This change significantly increased the glass area and made the bays feel much larger and brighter. The homeowners also chose black window frames to give the homes a more contemporary appearance. To complete the transformation, we wrapped the remaining support posts and surrounding wood with black aluminum capping, protecting the wood from the elements while ensuring a maintenance-free finish for years to come.

The homeowners were very happy with the final result, especially the clean lines and overall craftsmanship.
